Today, I had a good day.
Do you reckon a day good, when you just shop and spend money a good day? Erm, ok at least I just send $10.
I had trouble sleeping last night, but after playing my yoga CD which plays very soothing music, I fall asleep! (yay) But I wished for a few hours of sleep when I woke up this morning. Still went to TOWN with Vanessa!
It was fun, maybe better than rotting and cleaning my table at home and thinking about my lost $50 again. ($50...!) Besides, it has been sooo long since I go town-ing with her.
We watched
SAW. [It's very fun to read the message board]
Here are some quotes:
1.
Adam: I don't care if you cover yourself in peanut butter and have a fifteen-hooker gangbang!
2.
Adam: I fell asleep in my shithole apartment and I woke up in an actual shithole.
3.
Jigsaw:
From tape: Rise and shine, Adam. You're probably wondering where you are. I'll tell you where you might be. You might be in the room that you die in. Up until now, you've simply sat in the shadows, watching others live out their lives. But what do voyeurs see when they look into the mirror? Now I see you as a strange mix of someone angry, yet apathetic. But mostly just pathetic. So, you're going to watch yourself die today, Adam. Or do something about it.
I did not want to watch it at first, after vowing not to watch a NC-16 thriller after
DEAD END. DEAD END is really really good, a must watch. I'm contradicting myself I know.
But to please her, I still watched. Haha no. She did not bully me. I wanted to watch Polar Express but she said it is not going to worth it. Then there were not any fine shows. We gave that new Jap sci-fi movie a miss
(no Takeshi Kaneshiro..[returner?])
Let me digress. Er-herm.
Christmas must watch christmas shows. Damn the commercialism or whatever. Where can you find snow in Singapore? Movies. Where can you see Santa Claus? Movies. Where can you find romance in Singapore? Yes, movies (sob).
Last year, I watched Love Actually. And it was so very very beautiful and funny and romantic. Sigh... that is what christmas is all about, doesn't it.
So the final verdict.
CHRISTMAS MUST WATCH CHRISTMAS MOVIES! x3
Ok, back to 'Saw'. It was good I think after thinking back. It is so exciting and 'thrilling' you will be gasping for breath and hiding behind your bag since the second it start! (Ok lah. Only me...)
But you can expect the same gore and stuff from a typical NC-16 film. Think Dead End.
The ending, as what Hui Ting told Vanessa told me, -very very unexpected.
Maybe it was worth my money. And changing my movie taste once in a while is good. Too much of anything, be it sweet, is certainly not good.
House of Flying Daggers in opening in US. *Cheer!*
Luther is out in DVD. *Yawn...*

I must complain about one very fine lady I met in the train on the way home. (what's new?)
This lady in a collar shirt and dark khaki capris was standing opposite Van and me. She was listening to music. Then her phone started ringing and she began yakking on the phone, which sounds business to me. She took her other headphone out and I think she drop her earring as a result.
I hesitate on whether should I help her pick up her earring cos I would look so ma-lu. But then I thought she really did not notice her dropped earring and that I should really help her or she would look like a pirate on her way home. Or maybe her earrings was given to her by her dead ex-boyfriend.
So I bent down and help her picked it up. And she continued talking to her phone.
Without a thank you! I was mad. Am I am still mad. At least smile smile or whatever ok! I hate these type of people! Maybe they have hordes of people waiting them just because they got enough bags of gold to step on us!
Er-herm. So sorry for my childish-ness. Just that I met so many nice people that I forget how nasty people can be. Or maybe I really DO have a hearing problem. Or maybe I am crazy, as what Van told me the WHOLE day.

I met a SR friend working in Topshop today. Wow. And she told me where to interview for a job at Topshop. I think it is good working there. Good music and discounts. But I did not seriously thought of getting a job there for one month.

I am looking forward to school. I miss the people. I miss the wanton mee. I miss the library.
I am really going crazy.
I need a bag.
But never mind, I still have my beloved Phua Chu Kang tonight! Haha!
Yeah and I even dare to say this here.
